Hokay! Site is more or less functional with all the bits and bobs I want implemented up and running. Site has the basic look and graphic, blog functionality, and mobile browser compatibility. Now if I can only get parallax stars working then I'm good to go. This was a fun project to do over the weekend and I hope to add more functionality to it in the coming weeks. I'll be moving forward with my other projects for now and blogging here whenever I have an update!
